Here we go again guys with these bad hard drives, it is becoming an epidemic. I don’t know what is going on but this is an interesting story. Because this client actually came in saying her computer was slow. And it was having issues but when she brought it on the computer booted up. It went to the desktop. It was kind of acting you know pretty normal. So she was kind of surprised so she said well don’t worry about it I’ll come back.

So she took the computer and I guess a week went by and now it’s back and slow.  Now, notice here 9% health, all these bad sectors and all these performance issues, health issues basically critical and Windows has not given any warnings about hard drive. So don’t rely on Windows or anything else to kind of tell you that your hard drive is. Going bad and recently we have been seeing hard drives.Just getting corrupt even though the hard drive is not bad. With corruption.

We had one recently we could not even recover it. all the data just got massively corrupt so the standard processes didn’t work on that drive. So don’t rely it, the only thing you can rely upon is having one or two extra backups and you won’t have to sweat it. So thanks for watching.
