Hey guys, let me show you something that I don’t recommend you ever do. What happened to this computer right here. We’re going to turn it on no power . It’s dead as a door nail what’s called a brick. What happened was a gentleman went to do some updates. One of the updates that was recommended by the software was to do the BIOS update. So I don’t recommend you do that unless you have a really compelling reason to do so. Because this could happen. Well, it’s not that common and it’s a risk that you take. What we did here the computer is completely dead first time. I have seen this happen so it’s not really that common.

No power at all sometimes when a BIOS update goes bad what will happen is that you will still get power but you just won’t be able to get into your OS or even the BOIS don’t boot up. But you get power so you should be able to reinstall your BIOS. In this case we can’t do anything because we got no juice . The different things that we did is disconnected the main battery. And we also did a BIOS reset, we disconnected also the CMOS battery none of that helped.

We tried you know resetting at different options holding the power down etc but no avail so we got a super nice computer here that’s going to be a very expensive paper holder right now. By just basically doing a BIOS update recommended by the OS so if you got a BIOS update I would hold off on doing that or just be ready to take a risk and lose your computer pretty much. Thanks for watching.
