I have been working on this Asus laptop that is almost brand new. It’s giving us issues; a blue screen and red screen. We tested the operating system and everything looked good. We are running a memory test if you’re familiar with this, it’s the old school memtest. Red usually means bad so as you can see we got some bad memory going on here.

Usually that is not a big problem basically you would swap out the memory, but with this unit, this is an on board memory, this is not an ultrabook but kind of like a high end computer and it has a memory slot right here which we took out and we will show you that. It’s got a 8 GB RAM but it also has 4 GB on the motherboard on the other side. So the on board RAM is bad and unfortunately that cannot be changed, so this computer here is good as gone. So no repair on this so that what’s going on over here today at PC911.
