Taking a look at the computer’s problem

I want to show you what we are doing today at PC 911 computer repair in Miami and then we are going to give you recommendation after this. So for example, here today we are with a Sony, computer slow, junked up. Junked up you know meaning pops ups all the good stuff. This computer is running Windows and we are running some Malware clean up removal. This computer here we got a little HP Stream, nice brand new and nothing wrong with it but what we are doing here is installing a Kaspersky antivirus because it’s Windows and it’s going to go on the Internet. So 99.9% of all viruses on the Internet are going to attack this unit.

Different computer, same problem

Next one over here, same deal it’s a little bit older Toshiba of course running Windows 7, a slow, junked up we had to basically you just start from scratch. We just wipe Windows and start it from scratch, there was too much junk on it so it’s probably not a bad idea with old Windows, here’s it doing updates if you have an old Windows that has been running 5, 6, 7 years, it’s probably a good idea to start from scratch anyways because there is much stuff in there. And we keep just going around, here’s another one, here’s a Dell, it’s a nice I7 running Windows 7 and this one came in also we got a ticket on this one here. Slow, freezing, pretty much you get the picture, so I told you I was going to give the recommendation at the end.

Our recommendations

My recommendation is do not use Windows for the Internet come check us out we’ll install Linux on your computer. Linux is an operating system that is virtually virus proof. It’s even more virus proof than a Mac you hear that Macs don’t get viruses, a Linux even less. We install it right alongside your computer, you’ll have Windows for anything that you need locally but as far as getting on the Internet you want to go Linux. It uses Chrome which you are probably already using, you could also use Firefox which are the two I think best browsers at the moment. So we spend the day here cleaning these up but there is a solution if you don’t want to be on this bench get yourself a virus proof computer from PC 911.
