Should I clean the inside of my PC?

Hey everybody, welcome to another segment of Ask PC 911. Today’s question is – should I periodically clean my computer on the inside? Or does it just automatically stay clean? Let’s take a look I think you could kind of get an idea of what the answer is. Of course, this is a very old computer. If you look in here you can see that basically that’s the cooler back there for the CPU. Which is the processor and you can’t see through because it is completely packed with dirt. So this computer number one is not a fast computer to begin with.

And then when you add all this dirt on top of there it can’t breathe so basically it’s going to run hot and then it is going to start freezing, shutting down and all that. So you do periodically whether you do it yourself just disconnect everything and blow it out or just dust it out with something but you definitely want to make sure you get in this fan here and get all that cleaned out. You have some other fans too and you are going to see that where all that stuff is going to cludder up. So should you clean it? Yes, you should I would probably take a look at every six months.

Usually you can tell because once you start seeing dust all around here, all around the front once you start seeing that you can imagine how it is inside. We’ll catch you on the next video.
