Windows 10 Pin login

Hey guys, welcome back to another video here at PC 911. Want to give you a little tip over here with Windows 10. We are having quite a few people coming in with crashes and things like that. I want to let you know here I just ran into this computer. If you are using a pin to log into your Windows (which is your Microsoft account), if you wind up having some kind of issue with your computer and you want to boot up in safe mode. Which gives an option to get in if have some kind of conflicts with drivers and things like that. The pin log in doesn’t work if you are going to use the safe mode of entry.

Using other methods

Just want to give a heads up I just ran into it. I wasn’t even aware of that even myself so I still recommend that you use the generic or standard email login. so you don’t wind up getting stuck out of this.In this case, the customer did some looking through his notes and he did find it. But it is very easy to create a password and then wind up 6 months later using a pin. You get stuck in a situation now you can’t get back in your computer. Of course, there’s ways to reset that and go online and all that but it could just put you into a little bit of a headache really for nothing.

You know the pin is not a big deal just for a maybe it’s for a 4 digit it’s a little bit easier but tip for the day just stick to the password and avoid those headaches. And again I’m still standing by waiting at 90 days to update your Windows 10 because we get at least I don’t know I would say at least 2/3 a day with Windows 10 issues. I got another one here also on another bench also crashed on a Windows 10 update, see you next video. Thanks for watching.
